Manager, Operations

Matthew brings close to 20 years of experience in Leadership, Organizational Management, Sales, and Customer Service for a variety of industries.

Matthew King joined Addicus in 2020 where he serves as the Manager of Operations. Matthew trains support staff to effectively utilize their strengths, manage heavy workloads, and work with high focus on accuracy. He strives to produce a structured and successful team with effective business practices to provide quality results for Addicus and equip the Executive team to deliver an unmatched experience for clients.

Prior to joining Addicus, Matthew worked with Howorth and Associates Architects as a Business Manager from 2017 to 2020. In this role, he managed accounts, worked with accountants on tax reporting, managed Human Resources responsibilities, and effectively communicated with Project Managers and Architects to report accurate billing information. Previously, he worked for Weston Solutions and various roles in the entertainment, hospitality and telecommunications fields. His experience includes managing teams of up to 20 at a time.

He is an active member of The Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. Matthew is also passionate about Community Service and has served as the President of the Board of Directors for Theatre Oxford. He has lead the coordination of three fundraisers for Team Fox, the grassroots arm of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, raising over $10,000.

Matthew graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. He is currently pursuing his MBA from Auburn University.

Matthew resides in Oxford, Mississippi with his fiancé, Jennifer, their four children, and three pets. In his free time, he enjoys singing and spending time with his family. He is also passionate about acting, improvisation, and public speaking.
